Once you book, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details. We'll send you an event reminder with your Zoom link and any necessary materials 12-48 hours prior to your scheduled time. On the day of your event, join the Zoom room 5 minutes early to get settled. Your Storyteller or Quiz Guide will welcome you, explain the rules, and guide you through the entire experience. Everything happens in real-time with live hosting—no pre-recorded content!
It depends on which event you’re interested in. Our virtual escape rooms last around 60 minutes. Legend of the Lost Obsidian is more in depth and requires around 75 minutes. Our customizable 7-category trivia lasts around 60 minutes, and our customizable 3-category trivia lasts around 30 minutes.
Sometimes our emails get put into spam, so make sure to check your junk folders. If you still can’t find it, feel free to contact us and we’ll get it figured out together!
Yes! The amount of people you book for are the only ones that will be in the event–aside from your Storyteller or Quiz Guide, of course.
After booking your customizable trivia event, we'll email you a comprehensive form listing all available categories to choose from. Simply select your preferred topics and return the form to us—it's that easy! If you’re wondering about a specific category, feel free to contact us and ask.
All our events are live-hosted through Zoom. We recommend downloading the Zoom desktop version for optimal performance, but you’re welcome to use the browser version if you wish. You don’t need an account to play, and can sign in as a guest if you want. We recommend playing on a computer or tablet, as the larger screen will enhance your experience. For the best team experience, we suggest each participant joins from their own device so everyone can interact and contribute equally. When playing our escape rooms, we recommend a minimum of 50 Mbps download speed to help provide a smooth, optimal online experience.
We have a maximum of 8 per team to ensure everyone has a great time, but we accommodate groups of all sizes! If you have more players, then you’ll get split into teams to compete against each other. Please note that if you have a preference about which players are on the same team, you can mention this during booking or email us anytime afterward—just make sure we receive your team preferences at least 1 hour before your event start time.
Absolutely! Our default team size is up to 8 players per team—so 16 people would automatically be split into 2 teams of 8, for example. If you'd prefer smaller teams (like 4 teams of 4), we're happy to accommodate that request. Please note that smaller team configurations require additional Storytellers or Quiz Guides, which involves an extra fee that varies by event type. Select the amount of extra Storytellers or Quiz Guides you would need (for example, 4 teams of 4 would require 2 extra) during checkout, or contact us for assistance.
For bookings within 3 hours, please contact us directly to check availability and ensure we can accommodate your preferred time slot and event details.

Pricing varies depending on your number of participants and the event you select. Customize your experience on our booking page to see the total cost.
As our events are live-hosted, we ask that you be as punctual as possible. We will open the Zoom room for you 5 minutes prior to your event time, to give you time to get settled, go over our event guidelines, and ensure you spend as much time playing as possible. If your whole group is late, we will do our best to accommodate you within the remaining time, but we can’t guarantee the same experience. If most of your team is present, we may need to begin without the remaining participants. Late participants can be added into teams upon arrival.
We don’t recommend our experiences for players younger than 7. Children under 7 years old are welcome to accompany you during your event for free. Please see the detailed escape room pages as each of our events has a tailored age recommendation.
